A neutral palette, the cutest chunk of a little man & so much love from mom and + dad! When precious subjects, dreamy light & a beautiful nursery come together… muwahh!! The flimy tones so wonderfully captured the timeless essence of Kayla & Greg’s new stage of life. I hope they never forget how little Nolan once was!

A little background: As an inverted extrovert, my photography business is continually pushing me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to meet so many new clients & friends! I think that’s why new clients hold such a special place in my heart because I feel so accomplished when I walk away having shared my talent while they do their thing with their people. It’s just the best!! So when I didn’t intentionally market to Indy-area clientele in 2024 and I received Pamela’s inquiry, I was so pleasantly surprised! Instagram is such an odd tool where you feel like no one notices or follows along & then you have a new client from some random thing you just happened to post.

I have a love hate relationship with November sessions. Usually the leaves are gone, the grass is beginning to get its yellowish tint & it feels so dull outside. And when I pulled up to West Park in Carmel, it was no exception. I was scoping out this location that I’d never shot at and found this random hill with a few bushes that were still blooming. To say that the colors, lighting & outfits all showed off that evening would be an understatement! Just a little lesson that sometimes the best things come from the mundane & faded seasons of life. Sometimes you’ve got to find your own beautiful, roll with it & it’ll end up turning out amazing just like this chilly November session 🙂

Motherhood sessions hold such a special place in my heart. I love getting to be the one to capture the sweet moments that come with raising children. The belly laughs, tickle fights, little arguments that lead to bear hugs & the sweet, unprompted kisses. This family defines “models” and made my job soooo easy. I hope Ilona cherishes these forever as her motherhood journey continues to move swiftly!

The sweetest big sister, smitten parents – pure perfection. This was the first session that a momma got to utilize my Client Closet which I am so completely excited about!!
